Deck Details & Information
This is the first powerful deck I focused on as I started LOR this past 2 weeks and I am very impressed and is able to clash against abnormally powerful expensive decks. The only expensive cards it has is Kalista which I got free in the starting bonuses and bought with the free epic cards. The rest are composed of 2 epics, 12 rares and 23 commons. very cheap.

How it plays:
There are 4 ways to win in this game but most likely revolve on Kalista being leveled up or Mistwraiths aggressively overpowering the board
1. Kalista combined with a slain Wraithcaller - This will cause an eternal nightmare of Mistwraiths being pumped and spawned by Kalista's ability after the temporary resurection of the Wraithcaller

2. Kalista combined with a slain Rekindler - This will cause an eternal nightmare of Kalista clones being spawned by Kalista's ability after the temporary resurection of the Rekindler

3. Mistwraith barage - Just keep focusing on spawning mistwraiths and wraithcaller and if your opponent is slow, they will be overwhelemed fast

4. The Undying Bomb - The Undying here serves as a tool to not only help in achieving "ally killed" conditions here but also serves as a ticking timebomb. As you kill it using several spells and summons that requires sacrifices, it becomes (like the Hulk) more enraged each round until it becomes to dangerous to ignore. As a finale, you use attrocity to kill it (thus making it stonger later) and fire it straight into the enemy nexus.

Why only 1 Champion type and Region?
All you need is Kalista and all combos require Kalista. This deck becomes polluted with other heroes like Tresh even if conditions of leveling are the same. You need Kalista to be revived by the Rekindler to make the infinite Tsukiyomi of Kalistas and also the Infinite Mistwraiths caused by a revived Wraithcaller. Why it needs just one region? because we want Wraithcaller to be 100% pumping Mistwraiths and not leave it to chance.

Strategies:
1. You only need one "The undying" in play. do not summon more than one as it occupies the space for other combos and creatures that can help you on the defence.

2. "Ravenous Butcher" allows you to pump "The Undying", get an early "Mistwraith" killed, and triggering "ally killed" conditions that enable buffing the Barkbeast and "Black Spear"

3. Keep an "ally killer" always on hand preferably Ravenous butcher or glimpse beyond. You will need one in times you need to have that "ally killed" conditions that enables "Black Spear" and allows you to kill a temporarily stolen super powerful enemy follower (using "Posession"). It can also help surprise enemies in making Kalista level up fast.

4. "Glimpse beyond" turns a dying unit into a perfect sacrifice. Imagine an opponent sacrificing some cards or units to get that spell to kill your unit, counter it with this fast creature kill which fizzles the opponent's spell costing them precious mana and resources for nothing. It also serves as a last resort "ally killed" condition and getting "the undying" pumped up. Use this when you are running out of cards and have nothing to cast, but if you have other things to do, do not waste this just because you can.

5. You'd want to have at least 1 Mistwraith killed early. Kill it with either by using "The Chronicler of Ruin" or (worst case) "Ravenous Butcher", this is because you want it to be the creature Kalista will respawn when she attacks. also "Scribe of Sorrows" will help you potentially get 3 more mistwraith cards if that is one of the first creatures killed before it is casted. So once a Mistwraith's job is done (spawning that pumping Mistwraiths), it serves as a meatshield and aggro

6. Stalking Shadows works well with this deck. Fulfilling that "grab what you need now" situation and get that ephemeral copy to boot. Priorities are
1. Wraithcaller (where the ephemeral one serves as meeting that Mistwraith got killed condition in)
2. Rekindler (if you have a leveled up dead Karina) and you want to go with the Karina + Rekindler eternal nightmare
3. Scribe of Sorrows - This causes an unlimited "Scribe of Sorrows" hand if you casted the ephemeral copy and get it killed by an enemy or at end of turn. as it returns a card you controlled that died in the game. It can potentialy add another one for you to cast, and again, and again...
4. Mistwraith - more of it equals more fun
5. Ravenous butcher - more of this means more time we can spawn it while enraging the Incredible Hulk... I mean "The Undying"
6. The undying - If you already have it in play, you do not need this. As mentioned above you only need one of it. If you still have none and you want it, just grab it and never cast the original. cast the ephemeral one so that next round it becomes an annoying 3/3

7. "Scribe of Sorrows" will help you spawn the dead back. so do not worry about getting Kalista killed off early (just cast her anytime). It also combines with mistwraith and even adds itself (if you got it killed). I had one game where the card it gave me is itself and my play field was a bunch of angry "Scribe of Sorrows". This is key in this deck and because of it I never run out of anything to cast

8. Chronicler of ruin on mist wrait causes an "ally killed" condition, fully restores the health of the mist wraith and spawns another free Mistwraith (make sure you have space for that new unit). It can also be reused on "The Rekindler" to duplicate Kalista for free (if she died already before). Note as well that if the Creature you casted on was an "Ephemeral" copy caused by "Fading Memories" or "Stalking Shadows", it now becomes permanent

9. Do not cast "Risen mists" just anytime you want for no reason, this is a powerful trick card as explained below:
7.1: When opponents attack your 2/2 solo mistwraith and its your turn to assign blockers, they will believe (assuming they have key units with 3 health each) your mist wraith will die in vain defending. during these times, once they declare their attackers, cast this to spawn and buff the mistwraiths to 3/2 and believe me this situation happened a lot.
7.2: Another key play is that these can be finishers or surprise attack on your attack turn. As this is a burst spell, you can surprise cast this without triggering the player to respond before you declare attackers. This works on opponents who have minions with 2 or less health only or have no blockers left and you have like 1-2 mistwraiths in the field. In cases like this, if your opponent is left with 12 health and you are able to cast only one of this, your 2x 3/2 mist wraiths become 3x 4/2 mistwraiths.

10. Attrocity is a finisher which you should cast when your opponent has no way of countering and probably expended his mana. I can normally buff Mistwraiths to 7/2 and after the player assigned blockers to some, I use attrocity to fling them to the enemy nexus. You can use this when you send out an army of mistwraiths and they let some past and will block and kill several of it, instantly kill one of those blocked units and finish the game.

11. Posession is versatile in that it can be used as a finisher where the enemy will be betrayed by its own unit. Normally they will not block it if you use it for attacking as they will expect them to return to them at the end of turn. This gives them that extra damage and surprise them by offering this confused soul to the depths of hell with a "Ravenous Butcher" or "Glimpse beyond". Note that killing a posessed unit might cause issues or beneifts with "Kalista" and "Scribe of Sorrows". As this becomes marked as one of your units that died, it will become part of their condition which may r may not be in your favor.
