Runeterra Deck: Crimson Scargrounds Patch 1.16

Deck Style: Mid-range Aggressive

Win Condition: Overwhelm the enemy nexus with your buffed scar units!

Objectives:

1. Establish board presence with Ruthless Raiders, Braum and Crimson Awakener.
2. Put out Scargrounds with a healthy board (2-3 units), then build using the many pings (Vladimir, Ember Maiden, Awakener).
3. Scarmother Vrynna will be your finisher; protect her while spreading out.

DO:

1. Establish early board prescence with Ruthless Raiders and Braum.
2. Use Trifarian Assessors and Shared Spoilts to keep the engine running.
3. Work towards enabling Assessor and Reckoning by always having a 5 attack unit on board.
4. Spread out your damage. Scargrounds will help build up your units while protecting them.
5. Use Basilisk Bloodseeker for removal and multiple pings. Great for removing a blocker while also building Scarmother!

DON'T:

1. Put out Scargrounds too early since this is useless without a board; also have only one on board.
2. Rely solely on Scarmother; she is vulnerable to silence, removals and recalls.

WATCH OUR FOR:

- Frostbite / Silence: Play around this using Transfusion and Fury of the North.
- Nexus damage: Many scar units other than Scarmother do not have Overwhelm.
- Landmark removal (Scorched Earth, Aftershock, etc): Good players will hold on to these removals while waiting for Scargrounds.
- Aggro: Use Ember Maiden and Avalanche for early board clear. Later on, you will have access to Reckoning.
