Were using toss as well as multiple units dying to level up maokai fast.

You should have enough early drops to survive till mid/lategame. Play maokai early to use him for his toss passive, u can always rekindler later. Then finish with maokai/rekindler + pilfered goods (u dont need plunder on pilfered goods to be good already)
