The goal of this deck is not to flip Sejuani or Renekton. If that happens it's a nice bonus, but we should be winning before that in many cases. This is midrange aggro.
Using a honed combination of deck-pump effects like Omen Hawk, Starlit Seer, Xenotype Researchers, Avorosan Outriders, and Avorosan Hearthguard, and combining that with a draw package of ruinous path, babbling bjerg, and shared spoils (which also deck-pumps), we are trying to get big overwhelmy bois as early as possible.
There aren't many shurima cards because Avarosan Outriders is strictly better for this build than Golden Ambassador and we can only lean one way if we want allegiance to proc. Ruthless predator is not something to save specifically for renekton, if it can get an overwhelmy boi to challenge a 1 health unit earlier that is perfectly fine. This deck wants to spread the advantage across multiple cards rather than put all of its eggs in one basket, so take heart can and should be used on anything that takes damage and survives, especially if it has overwhelm.
This deck straight loses to deep, but it is very solid into everything else.
