Lucian's rally works perfectly with ephemeral units, and Azir's summon works incredibly well with rally. As long as you keep Lucian alive, you are guaranteed to attack twice (3 times if you have a scout) each turn, as Azir/Emperor's Dais sand soldiers die on strike; resetting Lucian's rally.
