The Worldwalker update is finally here with over 65 new cards, 4 new champions, and new mechanics and keywords. The craziest addition of this expansion is Runeterran champions and their unique Origin effect! Let's briefly go through the update and learn what's new! :)

New Mechanics, Keywords and Champions!
Origin
Jhin and
Bard are the first Runeterran champions to join the battle. These are unique champions that bear the new Origin mechanic, allowing you to spice up your deck like never before!
Jhin is very effective at dealing damage to Stunned targets and the enemy Nexus. Make sure to pair him with cards that can stun! Now stuns are even more annoying to deal with...
Bard is pretty much the opposite. He's not focused too much on damage, but rather on buffing your cards using his Chimes. Did we mention they're Boons? Ah, a little bit later!
Origin is a new mechanic that counts Runeterran champions as regions. For instance, if
Jhin is part of your deck, you may add any followers that has a skill to your deck (e.g.
The Maker).
Bard on the other hand will give you the option to add any cards that plant Chimes to your deck.
Origin cards can also have additional effects that are applied at the beginning of the game. In
Jhin's case, The Virtuoso is his effect and Lotus Traps will be played whenever 3 slow spells, fast spells or skills have been played. For
Bard you can probably guess what the effect is - for every Bard in your deck at the beginning of the match, a Chime is planted in your deck. Spam those
Bards and spam those spells!
This new mechanic opens up a lot of possibilities when building your deck. We're excited to see what decks the community will come up with!
Spawn
Spawn is a new keyword that summons a
Tentacle with 1 health and damage if you don't already have one. If you already have a
Tentacle in play, then it becomes stronger whenever a card with Spawn is played. For example, using a Spawn 3 card would give it 3 bonus health and damage.
Let's see who can grow the strongest
Tentacle to one-shot the enemy Nexus!
Boon
Boon is another new keyword that joins us in this expansion. They are positive effects that are planted on random cards in your deck, which activate when drawn. Chimes, which are the first cards with this new effect, grant cards in your hand plus 1 health and damage for each activated Chime.
Stack those Chimes for maximum effectiveness!

Illaoi!
Annie is joined by her
Tibbers when she levels up. Both her and
Tibbers are great at dealing damage and stunning their targets, so playing against them will be quite a challenge! She's great at stunning and
Jhin is great at dealing damage to stunned targets, maybe there's a combo there!
Illaoi plays around
Tentacles, as expected. She gains bonuses based on her strongest
Tentacle and she also buffs and heals them when she's leveled up. There are definitely fun plays to be done with the right setup!
